We are not required to appoint an Article 27 representative in the European Union, as the scale of our processing is limited and does not require regular and systematic monitoring of data subjects on a large scale. Should this change, we will name a representative in this section.

Personal data we collect

This website collects personal data only through two input forms. We do not maintain user accounts, and we do not deploy hidden tracking pixels or similar technologies to build personal profiles.

Contact form

Data you provide: your name, email address, company, project details, budget range, timeline, and the type of engagement you are inquiring about. Data collected automatically: your IP address and referring page, used for abuse prevention and to identify which entry points lead to inquiries.

Lead-magnet form

Data you provide: your name and email address, and the identifier of the guide you requested. Data collected automatically: your IP address and referring page. No additional data is collected.

Submissions from both forms are not stored in any database. Each submission is sent by email to our inbox, which is the sole location where the data is retained.

Purposes of processing

Personal data submitted through the contact and lead-magnet forms is processed for the purpose of responding to your inquiry and corresponding with you regarding potential engagement. We retain the email thread to allow us to resume the conversation if you return at a later date.

Analytics data, when you have provided consent, is processed for the purpose of understanding which pages are read and which are not, so that we may improve the content of this website. Analytics data is not used for advertising, is not used to build personal profiles, and is not shared with third parties other than the analytics provider described in this policy.

Where your data is stored

This website is hosted by Akamai Cloud (Linode), with servers located in Germany. When you load a page, your IP address is processed by the hosting provider for the purpose of delivering the page to your browser.

Form submissions are transmitted through Gmail’s mail servers (operated by Google LLC) to reach our inbox. Your submission passes through Google’s infrastructure prior to delivery. We do not store form submissions in any database; the inbox is the sole copy.

Analytics data, when consent has been granted, is processed by Amplitude Inc. within the European Union. We have configured Amplitude’s EU server zone so that analytics data does not leave the EEA for storage or processing.

International data transfers

Your personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area in one instance, which we disclose here in accordance with GDPR Article 13(1)(f).

Gmail routes email through Google LLC infrastructure located in the United States. Google’s terms of service include Standard Contractual Clauses, which we accept by using the service and which serve as the appropriate safeguard required by Chapter V of the GDPR for transfers of personal data outside the EEA.

Analytics data is stored and processed within the European Union under Amplitude’s EU data residency. Amplitude Inc. is a United States company and its Data Processing Agreement incorporates Standard Contractual Clauses to cover any remote access from outside the EEA. If you do not wish your data to be processed for analytics purposes, you may decline consent in the banner or withdraw consent at any time. No other functionality of this website depends on analytics.

Data retention

Form submissions are retained in our inbox for a period of up to twelve months following our last reply to you, after which the thread is deleted. If you submit a new inquiry, the retention period resets. You are not required to wait for the retention period to expire; a deletion request will result in immediate erasure.

Analytics data is retained by Amplitude Inc. for a period of up to twenty-four months, after which it is removed from their reports in accordance with their retention schedule. Withdrawing consent stops the collection of new analytics data; data already transmitted to Amplitude prior to withdrawal remains subject to their retention schedule.

Analytics and cookies

We use Amplitude Inc. to collect analytics data, including page views and sessions. Amplitude does not load and no analytics cookies are set until you have granted consent through the consent banner. If you decline analytics, no Amplitude script is loaded, no analytics cookies are set, and the website remains fully functional.

The cookie policy page lists the specific cookies set by Amplitude, the purpose of each, and instructions for withdrawing consent. Read the cookie policy.

Children’s data

This website is directed at businesses seeking software development services. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of sixteen. If you believe that a child has submitted personal data to us, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete the data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date above. If a material change narrows your rights, we will describe it in this section rather than making a quiet edit.
