Consumer apps
people don't delete on day two
Social networks, food delivery, AI chat commerce, AR filters, browser extensions. We build mobile-first consumer software that earns the second tap — the one that decides whether your app lives past the install spike.
Consumer apps live or die in the first fourteen days.
We've shipped enough consumer apps to know the shape of the failure curve. It usually starts at install, bends at day three, and flattens at day ten. A few of these probably sound like last week.
A consumer app has one job — be worth a second tap. Every loading spinner, every broken filter, every rejected App Store build costs you installs you can't buy back. The bar isn't "good enough." The bar is "better than the four apps already on the user's home screen." And those four apps are the best-funded, best-engineered consumer products in the world.
Three realities of consumer app software.
The constraints, the products, and the delivery model that make working with us different.
Stores, minors, and the moderation inbox.
App Store and Play Store review guidelines, designed in from the metadata to the in-app purchase flow. GDPR-K and age-appropriate UX when minors are in the user base. Content moderation tooling — automated and human-in-the-loop — that scales past the first viral post. Real-time feed performance engineered for the second tap, not the first.
"They were easy to negotiate, worked fast, and produced high-quality results."

Verified on ClutchMobile-first, real-time, social-native.
Consumer social apps with smart feeds, AR filters, video editing, and creator tools. Food delivery with two-tap ordering, real-time courier tracking, and AI recommendations. AI chat commerce that lets customers browse, ask, and check out in one window. Browser extensions that live inside the apps your users already use. Real-time notifications that don't feel like spam.
"We got everything we asked for including a stretch goal."
— Scott Wilson, Head of Product, AEI Music
Verified on ClutchReal users, real devices, real time.
UX research with real consumers on the devices they actually use — not the flagship you test in the office. Real-time load testing for the feed at 2 a.m. on a Saturday. App Store submission pre-flight before every release. Post-launch iteration cycles tuned to weekly, not quarterly. We treat retention as a product problem, not a marketing one.
"I was impressed with their level of motivation, which I found to be unparalleled in the outsourcing world."
— Vladimir Cvejanovic, CTO, StockStudio

Consumer social and community apps
You're building the next feed, the next AR layer, the next thing people open before they open Instagram. We build the mobile-first experience and the real-time feed that keeps them coming back past the install spike.
Food delivery and quick-commerce
Two-tap ordering, real-time courier tracking, AI recommendations, restaurant and merchant onboarding. We build the marketplace platform and the courier app that turn a one-time order into a weekly habit.
AI-native consumer apps
Chat commerce, AI assistants, AI-first discovery. The product is the conversation. We build the chat interface, the catalog ingestion, the in-chat checkout, and the safety rails that keep the AI on the rails.
Creator and marketplace platforms
You sit between creators and the people who follow them. Onboarding, payouts, content tools, and the moderation layer that keeps the marketplace safe. We build the trust layer that holds the network together.
How we make it happen.
A typical consumer app build pulls on the same five capabilities.
Every consumer app we build is a stack, not a single app. The iOS and Android experience is mobile apps — the platform your users actually live in. The web presence, the creator dashboard, the admin tooling are web apps. The feed, the matching, the AR filters, the chatbot are AI & automation. The full-stack wiring — auth, payments, content delivery, the moderation pipeline — is web-app engineering. And before any of it ships, we run UX/UI design research with real consumers on the devices they actually carry — not the flagship in the office.
"We are consistently blown away by the quality of the work and the speed at which it is delivered."
— Linford Bacon, CEO & Co-Founder, ngenius.ai
Verified on ClutchWhen we're not the right team for the job:
- You need a growth marketing agency. We build the product. We don't buy installs, run paid social, or own the marketing funnel. We hand off to your growth team — and the platform we ship gives them the analytics and events to do their job.
- You want a stripped-down MVP with no design polish. In consumer, the polish is the product. Users don't return to the buggy version of an idea. We can ship fast, but we won't ship ugly. If the launch has to be a wireframe, your launch is in the wrong place.
- You need us to manage content moderation at scale. We build the moderation tooling, the trust & safety dashboard, and the automated pipelines. The actual moderation operations — the humans reviewing flagged content — we hand off to your team or a specialist vendor. We don't run the inbox.
Real results. Real users.
Consumer apps we've shipped and the people who keep opening them.
An AR-driven social network that tripled daily actives in six weeks.
A social network was stuck on static chat. We replaced it with an AR mask engine, in-app video editing, and a smart feed that learned from every interaction. Daily active users tripled inside six weeks of the new build.

A sustainable food startup needed a discovery experience that learned user preferences and matched them to ethical meals. We built the AI chatbot, the catalog ingestion, the in-chat ordering, and the real-time delivery tracking. Users find sustainable meals that match their taste in one conversation.

A retail platform wanted to replace the traditional browse-add-cart-checkout funnel with a single chat window. We built the chatbot training pipeline on the product catalog, the in-chat cart and checkout, and the safety rails that keep the AI on the rails. Customers ask, browse, and pay without leaving the conversation.

Consumer-grade polish, not enterprise-grade sloppiness.
The loading spinner, the empty state, the 60fps scroll — we treat them as the product, not the chrome. Your users don't return to the buggy version of an idea. The polish is what earns the second tap.
Real-time feeds, not real-time marketing.
The feed, the chat, the AR filter, the courier on the map — every real-time surface is engineered for the second tap, not the first. We load-test at peak. We profile at the device level. We make the experience feel faster than it measures.
Retention is a product problem.
We don't hand off and disappear. Post-launch we run weekly iteration cycles — analytics review, A/B tests, the next feature shipped in days. Your retention curve gets the same attention your launch did.
Consumer app buyer questions.
Will our app pass App Store and Play Store review?
Yes. We run an App Store pre-flight before every submission — metadata, screenshots, in-app purchase flows, age rating, privacy nutrition labels. We've shipped consumer apps through review in 60+ countries. The night-before-launch rejection is not a story we tell.
How do you handle content moderation at scale?
We build the moderation tooling — automated classifiers, queue management, the trust & safety dashboard, the appeals flow. The actual review operations are your team or a specialist vendor. We don't run the inbox. We make the inbox manageable.
What about real-time performance on mid-range Android?
We test on the same budget Android phones your users carry, not the flagship in the office. The crash rate and the frame rate are both measured per device tier. If the experience is broken on the device half your users own, we treat it as a P0 before launch.
Do you handle in-app payments and subscriptions?
Yes — StoreKit and Google Play Billing, with the receipt validation, the subscription state machine, the upgrade/downgrade flows, and the server-side webhook handling. We've debugged enough failed renewals to know where the bodies are buried.
