The Challenge
We built a Chrome extension that sits inside Google Calendar. Users pick time slots, share a link, and the event creates itself when consensus hits.
Core Architecture
Three pieces. A sidebar that creates polls without leaving Google Calendar. A dashboard that tracks every event. An engine that writes the calendar invite the moment votes align.
Sidebar Poll Creator
Opens inside Google Calendar. Pick time slots from your existing schedule, add a title, set privacy rules, and share the poll link — all without switching tabs.
Event Dashboard
Three sections: events you created, events you were invited to, and closed polls. Vote counts update in real-time. Archive old polls with one click.
Auto Event Generator
When every participant votes and a winning slot emerges, the system writes the Google Calendar event automatically. Title, time, attendees — all pre-filled.
The Impact
The extension replaced email threads with one-click polls. Users stopped switching between apps. Meetings got scheduled faster and showed up on calendars without manual entry.
